Woodstock Festival 1969 Filled With 400.000 People

All rock music lovers already have heard about this famous festival which happened in 1969 in USA. During four days, rock legends such as Santana, Janis Joplin, The Who or Jimi Hendrix were playing in front of a crowd composed by over 400,000 people. This festival is widely regarded as a pivotal moment in popular music history. It is known nowadays as a famous symbol of peace.

What makes this festival so inspirational is that it created a kind of popular culture. The phrase “The Woodstock generation” became part of the common lexicon. The audience was supposed to be around 100,000 people but it reached four times what was expected. This is definitely the kind of atmosphere we would love to provide during Konserku gigs!
